What to do in case of:

Temporary crown or bridge comes off

Clean any debris out of the temporary, use a small amount of denture
adhesive on the inside of the temporary and place back onto the tooth.
Call the office at 8:00 in the morning to schedule an
appointment to have the temporary recemented.
Don’t panic if you cannot replace the temporary, call the office in the
morning for an appointment. It is normal to have sensitivity; this will not harm the tooth.

Broken or Chipped Tooth

If you are not experiencing any pain, call the office at 8:00 in the
morning to schedule an appointment to have the tooth evaluated.
It is normal to experience sensitivity. If you are having pain call the office
for emergency instructions.

Knocked out Tooth

Baby Tooth
Contact your dentist as soon as possible.
The baby tooth should not be replanted because of the potential for
subsequent damage to the developing permanent tooth.*

Permanent Tooth
The best chance for the tooth to survive is to have immediate treatment.
Try to place the tooth back into the socket.  If you cannot place
the tooth back into the socket, put the tooth in milk and call the office
for emergency instructions.
Remember timing and keeping the tooth hydrated is very important.

Broken or Lost Filling

If you are not experiencing pain call the office at 8:00 in the
morning for an appointment. It is normal to experience sensitivity,
this will not damage the tooth. If you are having pain
call the office for emergency instructions
